Graphic User Interface Icons

This is my icon design
using the concept of flower and also this concept picked by lecturer

and so i have to do something with the icon and the flower
this is my result...

"Contact" icon & "Home" icon

For the Vector "Contact" icon...
i refine already
This is the before and after.

Before & After

for the 1st design i didn't do any sketches about
how it's going to be look like
then i just simply made one.

after that our lecturer said that we still can refine it
but yea i can refine whenever i want...
what about the marks?

by the way...
for the updated "Contact" icon
what I've change is the leaves and the flower
and i added some details for the phone also
because i heard somebody said
the phone looks like a Tobacco Pipe =.='''
yea and i added the details on it to avoid it
so it won't looks like
the smoke pipe anymore!

well...the details does help a lot.

O ya... and the flower
the design, the colors...inspired me by Kagaya's Artwork

    something like fantasy design.
    I think the home icon is good enough.
    For the contact icon,i think can try more compostion and perspective,may b nicer

    5)when i first saw the icon, it looks like weed growing out from the icon. I think the colour of the phone should improve more.. maybe make it metalic purple/green... so it suit the flower

    A phone. Cause it looks like it. Try to make it more floral-ish. But i like the flower. the phone, looks a bit erm, dull :D
